Perhaps you have some hotmail accounts and you can read your emails only in the Hotmail website.
If you want to read your emails in your Mozilla-Thunderbird program, it´s very easy.
You must download from this website these extensions:
Web-Mail and Hotmail (according with your Thunderbird version).
Once downloaded, you only have to open your Thunderbird email client, and follow these steps:
- Go to Tools – Extensions
- Click on Install and select these 2 files (first one of them and then the other one).
- You will see these files in the Extensions window, now close this application and Thunderbird.
- Open again your Thunderbird program and click: File – New – Account and you will see a new option: WebMail , select this field and click Next.
- Type your name and your hotmail address (for example: test and test@hotmail.com) and click Next. Type now the incoming and outgoing name (for example: test) and confirm these data. Click to finish and type your password.
- That´s all, now you can see that this new option has been added.
