Really hacked?, please read:

Very very bad news
Hi all,

I have some very very bad news…

because of what is happening with e-gold i decided to take the advice of some of the members and move the trading from an e-gold based platform to a dollar one and start to accept deposits by bank wire (in spite of the delays etc).

Well I moved the funds to e-gold and was in the process of transferring them to another trading platform when we got severely hacked. I have personaly lost about one and a half times the members funds all put together. I feel sick, I don’t know how they accessed the e-gold account, It should have at least sent me a pin number but it never did.

I am stunned… I don’t know what to say to you, or what to do. I can’t believe that someone can be so evil and do something like that.

I never told anyone yet that I was moving platforms and transfering the funds (for obvious security reasons). I cant believe it… why cant they leave us alone to do something good. Why take it all, They emptied the whole account, my God, is this world so evil.

I am terribly sorry for all the pain this is going to cause the members. No one lost any money with my trading, i even paid members who’s account was hacked the first time, so why must they steal it.

I don’t understand it, we are doing a good thing, why steal it from us. My heart is heavy and I don’t know what to say.

I will e-mail copies of the transactions from e-gold so that every one can see I’m telling the truth, I am deeply deeply sorry, for all of us.

I am still here if anyone would like to talk to me, i am not going anywhere, you can e-mail me or talk to me at goldentalk. I’ll leave the site up so that you can contact me from there if you wish.

I will send screenshots of the e-gold account to anyone who wants to see them, for you to see the transactions. I have written to e-gold and told them, but i’m not very hopefull because of their one way policy.

I am very very sorry, for you and my own loss which right now is too much for me to comprehend. This is the last straw. I am going to sit on the beach now and try to make some sence of this. I’m sorry.

Regards
PeterB

Latest e-gold Situation

As you may have heard, e-gold have been indicted by the US Department of Justice on charges of Money Laundering and Illegal Money Transmitting.

In the indictment they say they have 24 seizure warrants on over 58 accounts believed to be property involved in money laundering and operation of an unlicensed money transmitting business. These accounts include 1mdc (see earlier report) and some Exchangers. We have not been affected.

We believe the indictment to be flawed and unjust and believe e-gold will fight and win the battle. We do not, however, know how long this will take and if it will affect their operation. At the moment everything is working fine and most businesses seem to be continuing to trade and accept e-gold.

To protect our members and our business, we did remove e-gold from our system for about 24 hours, as we were unsure on the stability of the situation. We have restored it as we feel the initial panic and rumours on mailing lists and forums had no real substance and most negative comments were hearsay and conjecture.

It is obvious though, that there is cause for concern and we will be monitoring events as they unfold and rest assured, we will let you know as soon as any further news breaks.

We feel our members need to know the facts and need to make their own minds up if they want to still use e-gold. Please realise, as quoted from the Department of Justice, ‘An indictment is merely an accusation and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty’.

e-gold is allowed to trade normally, so we see no reason at this stage to remove them from our web site”

News from Agloco!!

Posted In: News by Jose

They are going to begin very soon. Please read:

Dear Jose,

We will be releasing the AGLOCO Viewbar software soon and want to update Members on how things will work when it is released.

Each Member will get an email informing them that their Viewbar is available. It will contain detailed instructions on the download, which will be done from the agloco.com website. Members will be invited to download in groups of 50,000 a day for a two week period, with Members contacted in the order in which they signed up.

Shortly before the first set of download emails go out, you will receive an email notice that the AGLOCO website will be ‘out of service’ for a few hours – this is necessary for us to move the Viewbar download system from the test server to the main servers.

Also, please be aware of the following:

1. AGLOCO Hours: You will accrue hours in your AGLOCO Member account (current maximum is five direct hours a month). Hours are earned during active surfing on the Internet. The Viewbar has a green light on it that notifies the Member when it is accruing time. Your referrals’ surfing will accumulate hours for you at a 25% rate, meaning if one of your referrals surfs for the maximum five hours you will get 1.25 (0.25 x 5) hours credited to your total referral hours. You can only get credit referral hours up to the amount you directly surf (meaning if you surf 3 hours but a referral surfs 4, you will only get credit for the first 3 of your referral’s 4 hours). AGLOCO accrues these hours each month and also has a cumulative total of all hours earned. These hours are what AGLOCO will use to calculate cash and other distributions. The Viewbar contains a one click inactive button which turns it off and removes it from your screen at any time.
2. Initial Release for Windows: The initial Viewbar release will be for Windows Vista, XP, 2000 Pro and 2000 Server. Later, we will release Mac and Linux versions of the Viewbar. Until that occurs, Mac/Linux users can still log onto any supported Windows computer and accumulate their five hours. The Viewbar works with browsers IE 5.5 or higher and Firefox 1.5 or higher.
3. Cash Distributions: To be a sustainable entity in the long term, AGLOCO makes Member cash distributions from its positive cash flow (revenue minus costs). Therefore, please do not expect a check after the first couple of months as it will take time to collect revenue from advertisers and this revenue must exceed costs in order to make cash distributions to Members. We will be keeping Members informed of our financials and you can visit the Official company blog at http://blog.agloco.com for the latest updates.
4. Multiple Users on One Viewbar: As stated previously, multiple Members may use the same Viewbar on the same computer. Only one Viewbar download will be necessary as the Viewbar software will enable each Member to log in and log out using their AGLOCO Member ID# and password (obviously, only one Member ID# can be accumulating Viewbar hours at any one time). Please note, only one Viewbar is allowed on a screen at a time.
5. One-Time Download: The v1.0 Viewbar is purposely simplistic and minimalist, but it also comes equipped with an automatic self-updating feature. Once you download the Viewbar for the first time, your Viewbar will be seamlessly updated with new additions and features as they become available. These future features include the direct cash back feature when a Member purchases items on sponsor site and a portion of the purchase price is added back to the Member’s AGLOCO account (as described on the Official AGLOCO Blog at http://blog.agloco.com/index.php/post35/ . )

We look forward to your active participation in the AGLOCO community.

I received my eleventh payment, this week: 2,80%

As I see many programs are paying by e-gold without problems yet ;)

Thanks Dan.

Hello,

Monday, 23rd April 2007: 0.40% net profit
Tuesday, 24th April 2007: 0.70% net profit
Wednesday, 25th April 2007: 0.70% net profit
Thursday, 26th April 2007: 0.60% net profit
Friday, 27th April 2007: 0.40% net profit

Adding to a total of 2.80% net profit for investors this week!
E-Gold and E-Bullion payments have been executed last night.

As everybody probably knows by now, E-gold owners have been Indicted for Money Laundering and Illegal Money Transmitting.
Until then there are several articles worth reading over at Jude’s Nobshyip Blog.

There is no need to panic and start running in circles. I am waiting for fresh news from E-gold or the exchangers; that should come on Monday or sometime next week. Meanwhile I have inquired Icegold about their situation, and I’m trying to withdraw all my assets from Northfinance so I can re-locate the funds to another broker in May. I am not thinking of closing down Life Holdings, that would be the most stupid decision I could make right now. For now have patience and know that Life Holdings forum is the first place I post when I have something to say.

Someone is sending out a spam email for Life Holdings.net. I can assure you it did not came from me! Most likely, I pissed off an idiot promoting a cheap HYIP monitor and he decided to SPAM Life Holdings! The actual Life Holding’s website is .com, not .net. The e-gold number attached to the spam is not even registered with Life Holdings. Do not visit that website and do not make any deposits there! I have contacted their host to bring down the website and E-gold to block the account for incoming spends.
Life Holdings – Fake Website Warning

I think everyone should agree with me on this one: we no longer need a referral bonus at Life Holdings. Starting today the referral bonus is discontinued.

Regards,
Dan (OptimusLH)

Be careful,

some people is sending emails or PM,s in forums with a fake link of Life-Holdings website, in that link you will read http://www.life-holdings.net and this is not the valid website (see the extension .net).

This fake website has the domain in Coslinks Corporation (Canada). As you know the original life-holdings has the extension .com and it has the domain in Katz Global Media (India).

Dan (Life-Holdings Admin) has contacted with the host where this fake website is located. Meanwhile take care if you receive an email from Life-Holdings and check that it comes from the real website (.com).

Read what 1mdc has posted in its website:

Friday Apr 27 2007 - 4AM UTC

It appears that a U.S. Government court order has forced e-gold(R) to close down or confiscate all of 1mdc’s accounts. All 1mdc account’s have been closed at e-gold by order of the US Government.

Please note that it appears the accounts of many of the largest exchangers and largest users of e-gold have also been closed or confiscated overnight: Many tens of millions of Euros of gold have been lost or confiscated in this event. Many of the largest exchangers are shutdown.

Realistically, it is extremely unlikely that this action will ever be reversed.

If the action is reversed, your e-gold grams remaining in 1mdc will “unbail” normally to your e-gold account.

You CAN spend your 1mdc back and fore to other 1mdc accounts. However you must be aware that it is likely your e-gold will never be released from e-gold.

Ultimately e-gold(R) is an entirely USA-based company, owned and operated by US citizens, so, as e-gold users we must respect the decisions of US courts and the US authorities regarding the disposition of e-gold and the safety and security of US citizens.

Even though 1mdc has no connection whstsoever to the USA, and most 1mdc users are non-USA, ultimately e-gold is USA based.

1mdc thanks it’s users and technical staff and support staff. From 1mdc’s point of view, 1mdc had only just started to generate income from spend fees so five years expense and experimentation was wasted.

It is the opinion of your 1mdc team that:

1. The early era of DGC privacy is over.

2. USA citizens will simply never be able to use DGCs.

3. The only DGCs that operate from now on will:
(a) Have no connection to the US
(b) Have no USA users (exactly as Swiss banks have no USA users)
(b) Will have higher ID requirements than e-gold currently does.

You are welcome to email “team@1mdc.com” but, again, the realistic view is that the e-gold(R) will never be released. Note that of all e-gold confiscated by US court order, none has ever been released.

Until now USA is only checking USA accounts with a high amount of money in.

Many exchangers have their e-gold accounts frozen too because they do business with USA clients. If we can not buy or sell e-gold with these companies, could it be the beginning of the end?. Well, there are some of them that are working yet, and if USA doesn’t have proofs against them I suppose that the situation will be reversed.

Perhaps USA have enough proofs of illegal activities against some e-gold and 1mdc accounts and they are making an investigation in those accounts with a high amount of gold, or they only want to delete e-gold in its country.Who knows…

But, why are exchangers affected?, they are only selling and buying e-gold and nobody can prove that this e-gold will be used for criminal activities.

E-gold seems to work perfectly until now. You can send money from one e-gold account to another one. Let’s see what the future brings with these and other payment systems and e-currencies in USA.

If you are an Ubuntu (and GNU/Linux) fan you will know that the new version of this operative system is active yet (Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn).

You can download the Desktop or Server Edition here

I upgraded from my last version (Ubuntu 6.06) to this new version. Only one problem: my nvidia card, but easily resolved downloading and installing the drivers from the nvidia webpage.

Some tricks to make you easier to set up this o.s.:

automatix2: a program to install all that you need: multimedia codecs, instant communication programs, flash, java…etc. You only need to download this program and then execute it after the installation choosing what you need:

  1. echo “deb http://www.getautomatix.com/apt feisty main” | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list
  2. wget http://www.getautomatix.com/keys/automatix2.key
  3. gpg –import automatix2.key
  4. gpg –export –armor E23C5FC3 | sudo apt-key add -
  5. sudo apt-get update
  6. sudo apt-get install automatix2

And if you need to install the driver of your nvidia graphic card, I recommend you in this Ubuntu version to download the linux-headers of your kernel and then this driver from the original nvidia website. But you can also take a look at this automatic project called envy:

http://albertomilone.com/nvidia_scripts1.html

Although I like to use GNU/Linux instead windows (Ubuntu is very easy to use and almost without viruses or spy programs) my preferences are with OpenBSD and I am waiting for the new version 4.1 this 1st of May :)

I recommend you to read what sharonopinion posted in NoBullShit Forum about FinCEN (The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network of the U.S. Department of the Treasury) here

What is and is not considered a Money Service Business (MSB) operating within the U.S.?

You can also download a pdf file here

And it’s also very interesting to read here about SEC (The Securities and Exchange Commission) and what they are doing with the program Global Online Depository: Global Online Depository under SEC investigation, and the answers posted.

Please-invest

Posted In: HYIPs, News by Jose

After the interview made by Tony (hywd.info) to the Admin of this program (William) here, now you can read another interview made by the spanish Blog invertironline

Be carefull with this program, it’s clearly a ponzi scheme and William continues to refuse the questions about how can he obtains that profit in his program.

You can also read what he answers in Jude’s Forum and the opinions of the members of this forum. He has been very active in this Forum and sometimes his answers are very funny (even his signature: Portfolio: Please Invest, Please Invest, and other one called Please something, please invest maybe?).

I read in Technoraty that Japanese language is most spread in the Blogs (37%). In the second and third position are English (36%) and Chinese language (8%). Surprised??.

Some japanese bloggers think that it’s because there are a lot of companies there offering Blogs, many people can update these Blogs with their mobile phones (71,8% of them have mobile phones) and others attribute it to the historical interest of the Japanese for the writing.

See these percentages here
